ROLE DESCRIPTION
Local HR Services provides services where unique country support is required while we continue to deliver consistent and standardized services aligned with global initiatives. By combining local labour knowledge and deep process understanding, we are supporting an efficient and compliant HR service delivery. EMEA Local HR Services is responsible to resolve employee and manager requests, consult employees and carry out operational HR administration across the whole employee life cycle (onboarding, contractual changes and termination process). HR services are delivered onsite for Italy. Local HR Services Associate cooperates closely with all other teams within HR.
Reports to: EMEA Local HR Services Manager
Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for operational side of HR activities
  • Second level support for all kind of HR inquiries coming from employees and managers in accordance with Service Level Agreements
  • HR Portal pages maintenance and input for HRdirect knowledgebase
  • Creation of HR statements, verification and employment letters
  • On-boarding of new hires and related administration
  • Administration of contractual changes and preparation for payroll
  • Involvement in exit procedure
  • Administration during restructurings
  • Standard reporting
  • Support process alignment and HR shared service migration activities
  • Promotion of HR Shared Service Centre concept and support of local HR communication
  • Partner with other HR Service Specialists in EMEA, HR Business Partner and HR Center of Excellence for problem solving and service improvements

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • HR/Business Degree – preferably graduated within the last 2 years
  • Highly customer oriented
  • Quality driven, analytical
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible / adaptable
  • Accuracy / high attention to detail
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Fluent Italian and English
  • Knowledge of Italian employment law/ legislation is an advantage
  • Knowledge of HR Processes is an advantage
  • Experience in a similar HR role is an advantage, but not essential
